【Written Test and Oral Test】Regulations and Application for Leave

1.

筆/口試當日事假一律不准，無故缺席者成績皆以零分計算。

On the day of examination, no personal or sick leave will be permitted. Scores for absentees without legitimate causes will be marked zero.

已核准公假與因急病(例:確診、快篩陽性)或意外緊急就醫無法參加考試者，可獲准補考，分數不折扣。其餘一律無補考。

Students in emergency cases such as serious accidents or acute diseases (e.g., the case confirmed with COVID-19 or the test result shown positive) or on official leave approved of in advance will be given a makeup examination and scores will not be deducted. Other absentees will not be given a makeup examination.

若線上考試途中學生身體有突發狀況，請洽任課教師說明，由教師處理。

If a student is suddenly taken ill during the online test, the student should immediately inform the teacher for further arrangement.

因緊急就醫請假，必須在測驗開始後20分鐘內，向英語教學中心(分機5903) 聯繫(打電話)請假，並於測驗當日下午5點前繳交診斷證明，才得完成病假申請。如果未通知英語教學中心，則筆試(口試)成績以零分計算。

In an emergency case such as a serious accident or an acute disease, a student who has to ask for leave to seek medical attention should contact the Center for English Language Teaching at (07) 342-6031 ext. 5903 within 20 minutes after the exam starts. An official certificate of diagnosis should be submitted to CELT by 5 p.m. on the day of absence and attached online to complete the leave application procedures. If CELT has not been informed of the sick leave application at the specified time, the scores of the written test or oral test will be marked zero.
