Notes on Application for the 115-1 of the English Program 

  Regarding Make-up Course or Course Retake

 

  1. Fill out the attached application form.
  2. Please be sure to provide the full academic transcript (A printed copy can be made by using the self-service kiosk on the 2nd floor of the Administration Building). The transcript will be returned after the assistant confirms the grades and level are correct.
  3. If you need to retake or make up the courses (i.e. formerly L1-L6), the application starts from Jun. 22, 2026 and ends on Sep. 14, 2026 (application in paper form is due before 4 p.m. of Sep. 11, 2026). Application can be made either in person (or by classmates on their behalf) with printed documents or online by filling out a Google form (Please fill the form: 115-1 Academic Year Spring Semester Make-Up and Retake Courses Application).
  4. If you need to retake or make up the courses (i.e. formerly L7-L9), please access the school information system to complete elective course (ESP/EAP) registration for the first semester of 115 Academic Year during course selection periods, namely for preliminary selection and for course adding/dropping as required.

  3. Please provide the class schedule for the next semester (The class schedule may be withdrawn after the applicant’s verification of his/her non-conflicting options).
  4. Application begins on Dec. 24, 2025 and ends on Fe. 5, 2026 (application in paper form is due before 5 p.m. of Feb. 5, 2026).

  1. Students applying for session-switch or course re-take/make-up must attach the above documents; otherwise, the application will not be accepted.

Applicants are not permitted to opt for instructors of their preference.

* Being in conflict with elective courses, a General English course cannot be added into the applicant’s class schedule unless the elective course is officially dropped.
