- 活動目的Objectives:
本活動以聖誕歌曲為主題，延伸學生對西方文化之體認，並傳揚本校敬天愛人精神，亦藉由英語歌唱大賽寓教於樂，激發學生英語學習興趣，且訓練學生英語發音、語調、台風、表情達意，藉此提升英語學習成效。Using Christmas songs as the theme, this event is designed to deepen students' appreciation of Western culture and foster our school's core values of "Revere the Divine and Love the Human.” The English singing competition serves as a fun and engaging way to encourage students to learn English, helping them improve their pronunciation, intonation, stage presence, and ability to express themselves.

- 參加對象Prospective participants:
- 文藻外語大學四技日間部在學學生。4-year college students currently enrolled in the day division at WZU
- 本項比賽可以個人或團體為單位報名，團體可跨系、跨年級參賽。參賽者限參加1組，不得同時參加兩組或多組比賽。 Participants can enroll in the contest as an individual or as a group. Cross-department and cross-grade group entries are allowed. Each participant can only be in one group.
- 比賽型式Contest form:
初賽: 影音檔 Preliminary round: Video submission
決賽: 現場表演 Final round: Live performance
- 重要時程Important Dates：
- 報名日期：即日起至2024年10月20日 (週日) 23:59止，將參賽影音作品上傳至YouTube、於影片說明欄位加上「2024 Wenzao English Christmas Carol Singing Contest Entry」、聖誕精神闡述（為什麼選這首歌，以及想要傳達的精神：The Spirit）、放上歌詞（副標題：Lyrics）、取得播放連結（需開放權限能以連結播放）並填妥Google表單https://bit.ly/wzucarol完成報名（表單於截止當日自動關閉，逾期恕不收件）。Application Period: Each participant or team must submit their Christmas song video to YouTube, for the description section, include “2024 Wenzao English Christmas Carol Singing Contest Entry,” the song choice and the spirit you wish to express, and the complete lyrics. Ensure that the video can be viewed via the shareable link. Complete the Google Form application https://bit.ly/wzucarol by October 20, 2024 (Sunday). (The form will automatically close at the deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.)
- 決賽名單公告：評審將從報名作品中選出10組優秀參賽者，並於2024年11月11日 (一)公告初選結果和進入決賽名單。 Finalist Announcement: The judges will select 10 finalists and announce the list on Monday, November 11, 2024.
- 繳交決賽伴奏音檔：入決賽的組別請於2024年11月18日 (星期一) 前繳交伴奏音檔。Finalists have to submit the accompaniment tracks by Monday, November 18, 2024.
- 決賽及頒獎：2024年11月27日（星期三）下午 3:10於文園二樓會議廳報到並進行現場決賽，賽後當場即公告得獎名單與頒獎。Final Competition and Award Ceremony: The live final competition will take place on the 2nd floor of WenYuan at 3:10 PM on November 27, 2024. The winners will be announced and awards will be presented immediately after the competition
