第一條 英語教學中心為提昇必修共同英語課程之學習成效,辦理「學生英文實力養成方案」,包含英文實力養成課程,以及學生自學兩部分。

Rule 1.  In order to enhance the learning effects of the required general English courses, the Center for English Language Teaching (CELT) is implementing the “English Language Proficiency Enhancement Program,” which consists of two parts: the remedial English classes and the self-study.

第二條 英文實力養成課程適用對象

修習日四技「共同英語課程」,其大學英檢(CSEPT)成績未達200分者。大學英檢成績採計學生在學期間登錄於本校校務系統歷年最高之成績。      

Rule 2.  The English Language Proficiency Enhancement Program is applicable to the Day 4-Year College students whose CSEPT scores are below 200. This will base on the highest CSEPT score of a student during their time of study at Wenzao.

第三條 英文實力養成課程實施方式

每學期英文實力養成課程以每週一次,一次兩節課的方式併入「共同英語課程」實施。

Rule 3.  The English Language Proficiency Enhancement Program is conducted on a weekly basis, with two extra hours incorporated into the general English course. 

第四條 學生自學方案適用對象

基於自學精神,本案採正向鼓勵方式,由各班任課老師宣導方案內容並鼓勵學生自願參加。參加對象包含修習日四技共同英語課程所有學生。

Rule 4.  The self-study is applicable to all Day 4-Year College students taking the general English classes. To promote a spirit of autonomy, the class teacher informs the students of the plan and encourages them to voluntarily take part in it.

第五條 學生自學方案規定

一、學生至英外語能力診斷輔導中心(以下簡稱LDCC)參與診斷處方自學方式,並於英語教學中心網頁填寫線上學習回饋單:

自學時數滿10小時,並填寫線上學習回饋單,加該科目學期平時總成績3分;
自學時數滿15小時,並填寫線上學習回饋單,加該科目學期平時總成績5分;
自學時數滿20小時,並填寫線上學習回饋單,加該科目學期平時總成績7分;
自學時數滿25小時,並填寫線上學習回饋單,加該科目學期平時總成績9分;
自學時數滿30小時()以上,並填寫線上學習回饋單,加該科目學期平時總成績總分10分。

二、學生每次前往LDCC進行自學活動時,皆須於線上登入並認證。

三、該科目經本方案加分後之學期平時總成績以一百分為上限。

Rule 5.  The Self-study Plan Guidelines

1.Students should go to the Language Diagnostic & Consulting Center (hereinafter as LDCC) for diagnosing their self-study strategies, and fill out the online learning feedback sheet on the CELT website.

a.Students whose self-study hours have reached 10 hours may fill out the online learning feedback and get additional 3 points of the overall in-class performance grade.

b.Students whose self-study hours have reached 15 hours may fill out the online learning feedback and get additional 5 points of the overall in-class performance grade.

c.Students whose self-study hours have reached 20 hours may fill out the online learning feedback and get additional 7 points of the overall in-class performance grade.

d.Students whose self-study hours have reached 25 hours may fill out the online learning feedback and get additional 9 points of the overall in-class performance grade.

e.Students whose self-study hours have reached 30 hours (or more) may fill out the online learning feedback and get additional 10 points of the overall in-class performance grade.

2.Every time the student goes to the LDCC for self-study, he/she needs to log in and receive verification.

3.The maximum of the student’s overall in-class performance grade is 100 with all the additional points earned in this program.

第六條 學生自學方案實施方式

一、實施期間:每學期第三週起至期末考前一週止。

教授共同英語課程老師於開學第一、二週宣佈此方案內容,鼓勵同學參與,並於期中考後一週再次宣傳此方案,鼓勵學生於學期中隨時參與。

開學第三週起,學生自行進入LDCC網頁,線上登入Dr. E-learning 平台進行診斷並取得處方自學時數。每次自學結束時,儲存LDCC線上使用時數紀錄,以利期末統整自學時數。

請務必填寫線上學習回饋單。時數滿10小時填寫首次回饋單,之後每滿五小時填寫一次。填寫不完整者,視同未填寫,不予加分。

每學期期末考前一週及期末考週,學生須自行列印LDCC學習時數紀錄單與線上學習回饋單,繳交給任課老師,作為學期平時總成績的加分憑據。

各班任課老師於每學期期末彙整學生的學習時數記錄單與學習回饋單交予英語教學中心留存保管。

Rule 6.  The Implementation of the Student Self-study Plan

  1. Implementation period is from the 3rd Week of each semester to the week before the final exam.
  2. Teachers of the general English courses may inform their students of the plan in the first 2 weeks of the semester and encourage them to take part in the program. Teachers may remind their students of the plan once again in the weeks after the mid-term exam to advocate the program throughout the semester.
  3. From the 3rd week of a semester on, students can log in to the Dr. E-learning platform of LDCC for diagnosis of their learning difficulties and receive recognized self-study hours. When students finish their self-study, they need to keep all their LDCC hours in record for calculation of self-study hours by the end of a semester.
  4. Be sure to fill out the online learning feedback sheet. Fill the first form after finishing the first 10 hours of self-study, and then again for every five hours after that. Forms that are not completely filled out will be regarded as incomplete, and will not be eligible for earning extra points.
  5. In the last 2 weeks of a semester, students need to submit their LDCC self-study hour record as well as online learning feedback to their teachers, who will use the logs as reference for the addition of points.
  6. All general English teachers need to bring their students’ self-study hour record and online learning feedback to CELT by the end of the semester for filing.

第七條 本要點經中心課程規劃小組會議、中心會議、英語暨國際學院院務會議審議通過,提教務會議審核後實施,修正時亦同。

Rule 7.  The above rules will take effect after approval by the CELT’s Curriculum Meeting and General Meeting as well as the College’s Affairs Meeting, with verification by the University’s Academic Affairs Meeting; as will any revisions.
